Gulf Coast DMC Registration Services provides supplemental registration staff to meeting and convention clients throughout the Gulf Coast region. Our staff is comprised of skilled, uniformed professionals who are true Ambassadors, promoting our destination. The pool of approximately 50 intermittent, on-call employees, service 125 + events annually. Approximately 80% of the assignments are corporate events held in Convention Centers, hotels, conference centers, as well private venues :
Requests for Personnel
Registration staff is available for hire 7 days a week, including most holidays. Requests for personnel should be made in writing a minimum of 45 days in advance of the service date to help ensure adequate staffing will be available. Last minute requests will be accepted on a case by case basis pending staff availability. Requests can be made by phone or E-mailed to our Registration Clerk. Please note that a minimum of one Supervisor is required throughout the duration of every event. When assigning personnel for an event, it is GCDMC's registration policy to schedule the same person in one position for the duration of the event where possible.
To help process your request we will need the following information:
The minimum work shift schedule is four (4) hours; eight (8) hour shifts are the recommended maximum work limits. Work shifts over eight (8) hours per day or a forty (40) hour work week (Sunday-Saturday) are considered overtime and subject to time and one-half payable by the requesting Organization.
Special Note: A minimum 48-hour notice is required for any changes or cancellations, otherwise a minimum four (4) hour charge will be incurred per person.
Your organization will be invoiced for the registration service personnel approximately three to five business days following the conclusion of your convention. Invoices must be paid within 30 days to avoid late fees.
Parking charges for registration personnel at any of the event sites where assignment is scheduled, must be paid by the requesting Organization, if applicable.
